Spiritless
Spirit-free Spirits
A Kentucky-based company founded by working moms balancing demanding schedules and active social lives, Spiritless developed the first reverse distilled non-alcoholic spirits made in America. To distinguish themselves in this rapidly evolving category, the founders chose a category-defining name and came to us for a similarly bold brand identity.
Built around the idea that non-alcoholic spirits allow people to say ‘yes’ to more experiences, from joining the crowd at the cocktail party to getting up early with the kids for a hike the next morning, the confidently self-aware brand thoughtfully pushes tradition into a brave new world. It all started with bourbon and we've since helped add gin, tequila, and a collection of ready-to-drink cocktails.

Brand Voice
We crafted a bold, approachable verbal identity for the Spiritless brand. Driven by its 'less is yes' positioning, this expressive tone of voice touches written content throughout the brand from above the line to the side of the bottle.

Iconography
At the heart of the brand is an expansive set of iconographic illustrations that complement the broader Spiritless story and feature throughout all advertising, applications and packaging.

Launch
The Spiritless coming out party was an exercise in pairing the exceptional photography of collaborator Sidney Bensimon with the bigger brand world – the result was a memorable, iconic collection of materials across web, social and print.
